Internet and Computer Etiquette:
Students who choose to ignore the Internet and Computer Etiquette risk:
Being Deleted from all school-related internet accounts
Being Denied the privilege of school-computer usage.

1. Remember when making changes to our wiki:

Notification is sent to Mrs. VanGorden every time a change is made anywhere on the wiki. The notice includes the entry AND the name of the member who made the change.
Always write using professional, intelligent, school appropriate language. Focus on your sentence structure - capitalize the first letter of a sentence, use punctuation at the end of the sentence, NEVER use texting abbreviations, and ALWAYS capitalize "I". Remember, you never know who might be reading your comments and we want people to believe we are brilliant! Also, take a moment to READ what you have written before you post your comment. In this way you can correct any mistakes before they are entered F*O*R*E*V*E*R.

2. Wiki members are provided with email capability.

All in-school messaging must be approved by a teacher.
All out-of-school messaging shall be school appropriate as this site is maintained by a teacher.
3. When students are issued a laptop for use in the classroom,
Students should use their laptop with care.
Save all work to individual wiki pages and/or a flashdrive. (Do not rely on computer saved docs)
Sign out of all online accounts BEFORE shutting down the computer.
Place laptop back into its numbered slot AND plug into the power cart.
Students DO NOT have the right to change anything on laptops without permission.
